Tournaments

Our teams attend a wide array of tournaments which includes the following

All of the above types of tournament are usually scheduled prior to the start of tryouts and are listed as TENTATIVE for a number of reasons. The most significant of these are acceptance into the tournaments.

While we have forged a relationship with a few of the tournament over the years, WCVBC does not have any control over being  accepted into any tournament we register for. We are in constant contact with all of the tournament organizers that we have a "pending status" for and at times will look into finding other tournament for the affected teams should the need arise.

Regional Bid Tournament

All of our teams compete in the local NERVA run or NERVA sanctioned tournament with the intent to qualify for the regional championship bracket. Qualifying for the championship bracket gives these teams the opportunity to win a bid to the USA Volleyball Girls Junior National Championships (GJNC).

Cost of the GJNC

Qualifying for the GJNC will extend the season of those teams to late June to early July. The cost of playing in the GJNC is not covered by the club. It is at the cost of the parents.
